Why this SoundTrack?

The soundtrack has a very special story, just like any other soundtrack.

During my intense Bible study of the Sermon on the Mount, I compiled through prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, a series of books based on Jesus’s one and only Sermon.

My reasoning was this: Why would I listen to thousands of sermons throughout my lifetime without first knowing, in detail and as fully as possible, the one our Creator gave? Understanding this sermon is key to heaven.

I wrote a series of seven books for adults that are life-changing and spiritually transformative in the way we live today. They explore our understanding of what the church truly is, who we are called to help, and whether we truly recognize our Heavenly Father’s voice.

Toward the end of this study, as I was wrapping up the last book, it was placed upon my heart that children could lead us toward heaven from the very beginning. Because of this, I began compiling the material from all seven books written for adults and simplifying it for children’s ministry.

This is where the blessing began. The learning notes for the children were then used to help generate song lyrics. Several lyrics were created and compiled together. After selecting the best pieces, we combined them into songs and then generated the vocals.

We started listening to the soundtrack as a tool to reinforce our learning stations and help the content be remembered. By playing the songs over and over, we examined whether the right message was being delivered to our children. In that moment, we realized we had created music and songs that not only sing the Gospel, but also function as a musical Bible study allowing children to learn the Sermon on the Mount through the remembrance of songs.

Realizing this, we re-engineered these songs to be geared toward adults, so that children can explain the learning lessons to their parents while listening to the music together. We hope this creates a meaningful experience of connection, understanding, and love for both children and their parents.

Of course, we could not fit the entire sermon into seven songs. However, we included the portions we felt were most important to release first. Enjoy more will follow as we continue to build this, God willing.
